Our final propane tank has finally been set in place. The earthwork guy dug a big hole, and the propane company placed and connected the tank. This picture was taken from the upstairs sleeping porch, just off the master bedroom. At 350 gallons, a full tank will last us 2-3 years... FAR larger than what we really need, but it's the smallest buriable tank available, and we didn't want to look at an above-ground tank (white thing at top-left). In order to convince the heating company to allow us to have it (tanks are provided free of charge), I had to invent several high-volume uses for propane that we don't actually have!
