As a part of cleaning up the area where the old house's barn originally stood, I asked the earthwork guy to fix the wall that had a few dislodged stones. Here he is pulling a large boulder back up to the top of that 6' wall. Debris from the old (1880s) barn can be seen in the background, under the excavator's arm. This large pile of rotting wooden debris is not very safe; I'll burn it next winter with the earthwork guy's propane-fueled flamethrower (really!)
